Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival at Jeju International Airport with collection of your Jeju Olle Passport from the Jeju Olle Information Desk before a private transfer to Sehwa for check-in at Dubhe House, your accommodation near tomorrow's official Olle 21 starting point at the Jeju Haenyeo Museum. Visit the Jeju Haenyeo Museum to learn about Jeju’s legendary female free-divers and preview the walking route, followed by a traditional Jeju black-pork BBQ welcome dinner at a local restaurant. The day finishes with sunset views over the East Sea at Sehwa Beach. Note that the Jeju Haenyeo Museum is closed on Mondays and major holidays, though the walking route remains open year-round.
Breakfast at Dong Chon House before beginning the self-guided Jeju Olle Route 21 walk from the Jeju Haenyeo Museum to Jongdal Badang. The 11.3km coastal route takes 3–5 hours with minimal elevation gain and features highlights including the 360° viewpoint from Jimibong Peak, panoramic views of Udo Island and Seongsan Ilchulbong, and the quiet coastal villages of Hado and Jongdal with their scenic carrot and potato fields. A packed lunch is included, with dinner at leisure in the Jongdal area.
Breakfast at your accommodation before luggage transfer to your next accommodation, allowing for a full day walking Jeju Olle Route 1 (Semi) from Siheung-ri to the Seongsan area. This 15.6km route takes 4–6 hours and includes highlights such as the twin volcanic cones of Malmi and Al Oreum with panoramic views of Seongsan Ilchulbong, Udo Island, and eastern Jeju farmland. The walk also passes quieter coastal stretches including the Jongdal salt fields, Siheung coastal road, and Sumapo Beach. A packed lunch is included, with the walk finishing at UNESCO-listed Seongsan Ilchulbong before dinner at leisure in the Seongsan area. This is the trip’s longest elevation day, so an early start is recommended, with lower trail bypass options available in windy conditions.

Breakfast at your accommodation before heavy luggage is transferred ahead to your Day 5 lodging, allowing you to travel to Udo Island with only a daypack. From Seongsanpo Port, take the ferry to Udo and walk the full 13.3km Olle Route 1-1 island loop from Cheonjin Port. Highlights include Udobong Peak, Hagosudong Beach, Udo Lighthouse Park, quiet stone-wall lanes, and the island’s famous peanut fields. Lunch is at leisure on Udo, with sea snail kalguksu recommended as a local specialty, before checking in at Hundert Hills on Udo Island and enjoying an included dinner at Mahlzeit. Ferry schedules are weather-dependent, and passports are required for ticket purchase and boarding. On this night you won't have your main bag so please take what you'll need for the overnight in your daypack.

Breakfast at the hotel before ferrying from Udo Island back to Seongsanpo Port on the mainland, followed by a private transfer across Jeju to the Soesokkak trailhead. Walk Jeju Olle Route 6 from Soesokkak to the Jeju Olle Traveler Center, a relaxed 10.1km coastal route featuring the meeting point of freshwater and seawater, scenic seaside paths toward Seogwipo, and the Honeymoon House viewpoint trail. Optional traditional boat or kayak experiences are available at Soesokkak before the walk. The afternoon includes time to explore Lee Jung-seop Street and Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, with lunch at leisure along the route, before finishing with an included traditional Jeju dombe gogi dinner and overnight stay at Olle Stay in Seogwi-dong.

Collect a packed lunch en route before starting Jeju Olle Route 7 from the Olle Center to Seogwipo Bus Terminal. This 12.9km route takes 3–5 hours and is one of the most popular Olle trails, featuring highlights such as Oedolgae “Lonely Rock,” Subong-ro ecological coastal forest path, Beophwan Port, and dramatic southern coastline views with seaside cafés. The day finishes with an included Korean course dinner at Antteureu, a local restaurant near the hotel. This is a moderately challenging walk with elevation gain, so an early start is recommended to complete comfortably before sunset.

This moderate 5–6 hour route follows the Jungmun resort coastline, featuring highlights such as the dramatic Daepo Jusangjeolli basalt columns, Jungmun Saekdal Beach, Yerae Ecological Park, and scenic coastal paths including Beritnae stream and silver-grass viewpoints. A packed lunch is included, with the walk finishing at Daepyeong Port before dinner at leisure in the Changcheon-ri area.

The highlight is the climb to Gunsan Oreum, offering sweeping 360° views over Daepo, Andeok, Sanbangsan, and the southern coast, along with sections through Andeok Valley’s forest and caves and the historic Moljil horse path. A packed lunch is included, finishing at the Olle Information Center before dinner at a local restaurant featuring galchijorim (cutlassfish stew).

Start Jeju Olle Route 10 from Hwasun Jeju Olle Information Center to Hamo Sports Park, a 15.7km moderate walk through Jeju’s volcanic south-west region. Highlights include Sanbangsan lava dome with its surrounding legends, the dramatic Yongmeori Coast cliffs, Songaksan volcanic crater with historic WWII-era caves, and Hwasun Golden Sand Beach. Breakfast at the hotel before starting Jeju Olle Route 11 from Hamo Sports Park to Mureung Oeggatjip, a 17.5km inland walk shifting away from the coast into Jeju’s forested interior. This moderate-to-hard route explores the Sinpyeong–Mureung Gotjawal, a unique “hidden forest” where temperate and subtropical species coexist, alongside the volcanic Moseul-bong oreum summit and Jeonggaewat Plaza clearing with historic farming remnants. A packed lunch is included, with pick-up at Jwagi-dong Community Center and private transfer back to Jeju Aerospace Hotel, followed by dinner at a local BBQ restaurant.
Breakfast before luggage transfer to your final accommodation, allowing for a light final day walk. Begin Jeju Olle Route 14-1 (walked in the reverse direction )from the O’Sulloc Green Tea Fields to Jeoji Art Information Village, a short but scenic 9.3km inland route to close the journey. Highlights include the O’Sulloc Tea Museum and its expansive green tea fields, the forested Jeoji Gotjawal, and the summit views from Mundoji Oreum with Hallasan and grazing horses. A Korean course dinner is included, with lunch at leisure in Jeoji Art Information Village before finishing the trip.
Breakfast at the hotel before a relaxed final morning with optional time to explore Jeoji Art Information Village, including its art trails and gallery cafés, or simply unwind before departure. Check-out follows before a private transfer from Jeoji-ri to Jeju Airport, approximately 50 minutes away. Allow around two hours for airport arrival and check-in prior to your flight. The Jeju Olle Trail offers a diverse mix of walking surfaces, including coastal paths, forest trails, quiet village lanes, volcanic rock tracks, farmland roads, and occasional paved sections. Graded as moderate to hard, most routes are manageable for experienced walkers with a reasonable level of fitness, though they can include sustained climbs, uneven volcanic stone, stairs, and exposed coastal sections that require sure footing. Good walking shoes or lightweight hiking boots are strongly recommended for comfort, stability, and support across varied terrain. The trail is well marked throughout with the iconic blue and orange ribbon signage, making navigation straightforward while still feeling remote and immersive. This allows walkers to fully enjoy Jeju’s dramatic coastline, rural landscapes, and traditional villages along the way.

What is luggage free walking?
Luggage free walking includes daily baggage transfers between accomodation for you, so as you can travel light when walking. This means, when you're on the trail you just need to carry a small day pack with layers, lunch, water, snacks, phone, maps, medication etc.
Daily baggage transfers are generally based on one medium sized wheeled suitcase or duffel bag per person, clearly marked with your name. The bag should have nothing tied to the outside such as hats, umbrellas, smaller bags, e
How does luggage free walking work on the Jeju Olle Trail?
Pickup: Bags are picked up sequentially from 09:00 each morning. If your accommodation is on the early-pickup window (09:00–10:00), we'll notify you the previous day. Otherwise, please have your bag at reception by 10:00.
Photo Confirmation: Before leaving for the day, please take a photo of where your bag is stored (counter, designated storage area, etc.) and upload it to JIGI's KakaoTalk / WhatsApp hotline link provided in your trail kit.
No Reception? If your accommodation has no staffed counter, please coordinate with the accommodation manager to leave your bag in a safe location(or we will let you know where to leave your bags), then send a photo of both the bag and its storage spot via WhatsApp to JIGI's hotline.
Delivery: Bags are delivered sequentially to your next accommodation by 19:00. Delivery times may shift slightly with traffic or weather.

Where to use: Accepted nationwide for public transit (subways, buses, taxis) and at most convenience stores. It also works like a standard debit card at most merchants (Note: installment payments and automatic recurring transfers are not supported).
How to recharge: Can be easily topped up with cash at any convenience store (CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, etc.) across the country. Cash only.
